I am thrilled to announce Revisiting Oakland, a post-pandemic photographic survey of urban landscapes - a solo show at Manna Gallery in Oakland. Drawing from my Bay Area roots, this work focuses on the evolving dynamic between human activity and the environment, especially in areas experiencing change. Using digital techniques reminiscent of comic strips or film frames, I construct visual stories that prompt reflection on our interactions with our surroundings. Exploring the intricate relationship between daily routines and our deeper identities, I aim to uncover the hidden beauty within ordinary city scenes.
